Tried to figure out how the actinics spectrum (LED, probably 20k) would influence which fish colors excel compared to a mix of white and blue LEDs, but experience is probably more helpful in this regard.

What are your observations?
Would be nice to know in my planning stage (currently 0 fish) as during the week I will not see more than the tank under actinics...

My clownfish glow under actinics and moonlights. Their white stripes look like they're neon :) the cleaner shrimp looks neat too.

My Coral Beauty has amazing "popping" colors under actinics :)
The McCosker's Flasher Wrasse is quite a show too!! :bounce3:

Edit:
I use to own a Blue Hamlet that also was Brilliant under Actinics.. so gorgeous!!
There are lots of corals that "glow" too ;)

great, keep them coming!

I am also interested on how specifically the colors of yellow and blue assessors perform under actinics...

For me, it was my chromis. They turn into a very bright blue color.

my dotty back goes from yellow/blue to yellow/purple. It's like having 2 fish.

Seeing the positive posts, it would probably also help to collect fishes/fish colors that do not well under actinics.
