I plan to order your 48 Ultra Premium LED DIY Kit with Dimmable Drivers. what kind of heat sink do I need and what controller would I need if I want to dimm it. I want to add some extra blue about 10 or 15 does that mean I need an additional driver? also do I need to add fan to the heatsink or the heatsink by itself is ok? Please list anything else I may need.

The heatsink size depends on how large of a tank you're trying to light.

If you want to dim the drivers, you can either use something like a Apex/Profilux/Reef Keeper type controller, or we do sell a controller called the DDC-01 as well. Alternatively, you can use a 10V adapter and a couple of potentiometers for manual dimming (we sell a 2 color dimming kit that uses these parts for $30).

Each driver can power up to 14 LEDs, so yes if you need 10-15 you would have to get an extra driver.

Fans are typically recommended, but it depends on the size of your heatsink.
