I have about 9 worms, Yes 9 little red worms, guessing their bristle worms? They've been hiding behind a small piece of live rock for a couple of days, I just wanted to make sure they were actually alive and I touched the live rock and they all disappeared instantly lol, The question is, well they eat diatoms? I have a diatom bloom nearing the end my cycle and just wanna know if I should vacuum the diatoms out or leave it?

worms probably wont eat the algae produced by diatoms, it depends on how excessive the growth of algae is if its mild i wouldnt worry but if its pretty bad u can always try to vacuum it out, ive never had an issue with a diatom outbreak fouling my water other than the ugly brown look it gives everything.

I got home from work tonight and it's almost gone, a few patches here and there but a lot better than earlier today.
