I was wondering what you guys with the 28 gallon LED Nano cube were running for your lighting schedule. I just got my Apex controller this week and undecided how to run the lights now that I have all this control. Since the tank set up I had it on a timer power strip and another timer for the dawn dusk lights which ran daylight(0900-2000), nightlights(2000-0900), and dawn dusk (0800-1000;1900-2200). What do you guys think leave it the same or what do you recommend.

That light schedule looks great to me, I use pretty much the same on my JBJ 28 LED...I really like the tank coming from a Biocube.

Thanks for the reply I was wondering if anyone was running a time of complete darkness in the tank at night guess I'm gonna just stick with that schedule

Maybe you could add dawn/dusk lights for a couple hours at midday to simulate high-noon lighting.

That seems to be a decent lighting schedule. You could later on adjust it if you think any corals need more or less light time.

I tend to leave moonlights on 8:00-23:00, Daylight 3-20:00, Dusk-Dawn 12-21:00...go low to high then back to low.

I have dawn/dusk & moon lights come on at 2pm, then daylight at 2:30. All 3 stay on until the daylights go off at 9pm, then the dawn/dusk go off at 9:30pm, finally the moons go off at 10pm. I prefer to run the dawn/dusk with the daylights as it adds a more blue tint and makes the corals colors pop more. I also run the moons with the dawn dusk just for even more blue. I've tried leaving the moons on over night but they are just too intense and the corals never seem to fully close for the night (Zoas for instance).

From what I am reading, it seems like a shorter "full daylight" schedule may be better. I am just setting my tank up, so I will let you know how it goes.
