i have these white thing on my glass and i cant seem to figure out what they are. They dont look like copepods to me but i could be wrong. they arent flatworms and they dont really move. Not snail eggs bc i have no snails. They arent any sort of tubicular worms either. They have only attached to the glass and powerhead but not on the LR/LS. Every time i look there seems to be more and more.

They almost look like they have attached a "base" to the glass with the rest of it just attached.

Now about a week ago i sucked up some white sponge by accident during a water change and 1 or 2 pieces may have floated away but i dont see how this could be anything from that either.

i took one of these thing out of the aquarium and when i touched it it was soft and actually broke apart when i slid it on the glass

anybody have any idea? - cant seem to get a picture sorry

Those are way too blurry. Try standing back farther until the camera can focus on them, then crop the pic.

Yep, sponges. Nothing to worry about. They seem to proliferate in mutrient rich tanks.

okay well thats good to hear :) now they are a bit unsightly so should i maybe cut back on feeding or something to get them to die off slowly?

Yep, cut back on feedings, and do more frequent or larger water changes. You can syphon them out if they are too unsightly.
