Rumor is that PETCO $1/gal sale is starting up again soon.

Any truth to this?

Semi-annual $1 per gallon tank sale, usually 10 gallon to 55 gallon. Buy a 10 gallon, $10. 55 gallon, $55. Best buy is the 40 breeders, $40 for a normally $110 tank and perfect reefer sizes. Many Reef Central denizens drool over the opportunity to stock up.

I just hope my banker (wife) sees the value... :)

I just got back from Petco. My local Petco starts their $1/g sale this weekend. I see a 40b in my future. ;)

Yes 55 is yhe biggest you can get...or at least from our petco. Nearly picked one up yesterday

the sale started today. Can only go up to a 55 gallon tank. I think the guy said it is going on for a week or so. They have 10, 20, 29, 40, and 55 gallon tanks. If they dont have those in stock, they can order you one for the sale price and hold it for you.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........Wish I had known the sale was starting up soon. I just bought a 40 breeder a week ago for $85.00 (and thought that was a good deal!!). I wish they would go up to 75 gallons, I would pick one of those up!
