ok this is my setup

36 gallon bowfront
live rock bio filtrn
aquac remora protien skimmer
2 maxi- jet circulating pumps
1 clownfish (soon to be another one)
2 small chromis
a very big turbo snail
1 narassis snail
normal sand bed
0 for ammonia and nitrite, 20 ppm nitrate
(no sump)

as you can see, i have no mech filtration. i am thinking aout using a fluval HOB filter and maybe adding chemi-pure in the chambers. would this be enough? any other ideas?

I use a large Aqueon HOB filter to run Chemi-Pure and GFO along with the carbon/poly pads. Just be sure to change the media as needed and take the filter off the tank monthly and rinse it out.

haha i have a big aqueon hob filter too! its just sitting in my closet and i havent used it since i ran outa media for it. i also dont like it cause it adds those annoying bubbles. where do you put the chemi pure? in the bottom of the filter?
