Can anyone tell me the difference other than 1 being alive and the other dry and weight between these two in the pics it looks like the seaflor grain is larger or is it just me?

I used the special grade reef sand and has worked fine. Course enough to not blow around but still sand sifter friendly.

these are different too. one is "alive" & finer & darker....as the link pulls up the indo pacific.

But if you get the special grade for both, just the one is wet & therefor will still have some bacteria present.
