hey guys

here is my pickle,

i just got the rapidled 36 kits,
in this kits i get 18 cw cree q5 xr_e, 18 RB xr-e 3 meanwell ELN-60-48D.

now i want to be able to controll both color for dimming how would i do that without getting a 4th driver...

Set the strings up in paralel.

You actually only need 2 drivers for this.

Running two strings of 9 on each driver parallel is that what u mean

Essentially, you'd use two drivers, each driver running two parallel strings of 9. When you run parallel strings the current output of your driver will have to be shared by the strings. ELN's are rated at 1.3 amps output. Divide that by two strings = 650mA per string max output.

Here's a simple diagram for wiring a parallel string without fuses or resistors. But fuses and resistors are are a good idea in this case since you will want to balance strings and protect your investment. Have a look at the link above to see how it's done.

Essentially you'd run all blues on one driver and all whites on the other.
