Ok, so tell me if I'm just being paranoid, but my cat was sticking her paw in a bucket I use to mix water in, I'm not sure if she touched the sides or not because she ran away when I walked toward her. There's no paw print on the side of the bucket or anything, but if she did touch the side, would that be okay? I mean, she's a cat, so her paw is on the floor all day.

My cats climb completely into my buckets and I haven't had any problems.

if you're that worried about it... rinse bucket with a vinegar/water solution :lol2:

Just think what that cat may have been doing to/with that bucket when you are not looking!

Rinse the cat with vinegar. :)
My cats get everywhere and have never been an issue.

I don't think it will be an issue. We touch lots of stuff too... i store my buckets in the garage in between water changes. Who knows what comes out of the cars and lingers in the garage. I've never had a problem

Just make sure to watch when you have zoanthids in a bucket, they can kill the cat if they take a lick :( Just thought I would warn you as my dog is always curious when I'm dipping frags and your cat seems curious as well.

I don't think it's a problem, but don't drink that water - your tank can handle stuff ou can't ;)

my cat used to like to go fishing in the DT - I don't think a paw in the bucket will hurt a thing.

Unless your cat was walking in toxic chemicals before, I cant imagine what there would be to worry about. Sometimes I wake up with my cats paw in my mouth, lol.
