DFS group order?

Hiya folks,

Anyone out there have an interest in joining up for an order from Liveaquaria? Something caught my eye tonight and wanted to guage interest from others. Haven't ordered from them before (or livestock other than CUC/inverts from anywhere online for that matter) so no idea if they're recommended. LMK.

Liveaquaria are top notch. I might chip in for a couple of inexpensive things - around 30 bucks - if we hit the free shipping mark, which is $225.

Over the years I've had a handful of negative experiences with them, but 90% if the time they are as terahz says... they are top notch. And in each "problem" order I've had, I've been given a credit pretty much no questions asked.

IMO their livestock is more likely to have problems than their corals. They just had a rash of wikedly expensive haddoni (carpet) anenomes that began a long dying process immediately upon arrival. Bu their corals - expecially their "Diver's Den" WYSIWYG corals - arrive large, colorful, and healthy. IMO they are one of the best vendors for WYSIWYG actually being the color you thought you ordered when you get them home.

As before, I've used them a lot so a few negative experiences are inevitable. But I would never, never hesitate to order from them. Especially WYSIWYG corals.

Cool - great to know. I was definitely sticking w/coral. I'm thinking of spending around $120 or so (based upon what I'm looking at). I don't want to order if we can't get up to free shipping also. It just doesn't make sense.

Keep in mind that diver's den and the rest of the livestock are separate, so I believe we will not be able to combine diver's den with non-diver's den towards the $225. Not 100% sure, but I believe that's how it works.

Good to know on shipping. I was going to order this week to arrive on Friday, but time is running short. I'm located in Norwalk (06850).

Sweet! Glad it all worked out and thanks for joining in. Still need a few days to say whether or not the coral are ok. Blasto is coming out a little but the purple plate and frogspawn are a little funky. We shall see.
