I have a problem can access my apex on my wireless LAN, and send email and txts out. But cant control the APEX from the internet or throught aqua notes over 3G.

You need to set up port forwarding and DynDNS. See the New User Guide. Give it a try; post here if you get stuck.

Once you have external access configured, in order to use aquanotes outside your network, you need to create a second entry. This will use the external address.

That "update firmware" message can be misleading - it isn't always accurate. See what you get with Safari on the iPhone.

On topic,my port forwarding works fine but can't log in on aqua notes away from home network.
I tried to enter the dydns address but that don't work,is that the ip that's suppose to be entered?
I can log on fine with dydns when I put in in the browser.

Yes, but don't include the port with the host address, enter it in the port field.

If it still says you need a firmware update, go into wiggle mode and delete the app. Then install it again.
