Hello people,

Iīd like to know/confirm if the "Orange BBT" is a specie of BBT or it is just a varation of Rose BBT. I googled for it and didnīt find anything. Here in Brazil I saw an ad about it that says it comes from US. Is it true?

Some pics of it:

This looks like a bleached RBTA (rose bubble tip anemone). Pretty sure there are not native to any waters in the US.

Whatīs the correct name of them? As said before, I searched for it but didnīt find any info...:sad2: Any picture? The person who gave me those pics said that his camera is not good enough to take the real colors, he said me to come visit him and see the anemone by my own eyes to notice the real difference. I am afraid to buy it (veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrryyy expensive one) and itīs not what I am expecting of. :blown:

The anemone in the pictures is bleached, in other words its unhealthy. I wouldnt buy it, especially if they are trying to charge an arm and a leg for it. It will not maintain that color over time.

No the ones that I saw in that thread were not bleached. The one in the pictures here is transparent and has expelled some of its internal algae. With good care it could turn a darker orange or it could turn red. Do you see how the ones in the thread have a much thicker and darker color and the one in the pictures you posted is see through and real light colored?

Yeah, I need to see the orange one personaly, maybe the pics did not catch the real colours, as you said, the colours are really light, but if itīs really orange, maybe itīs only a matter of time to return the true and dark colours. Iīm afraid of buying as orange, pay the orangeīs price and receive a simple and bleached rose. Roses are great too, but are cheaper and I already have one, and Iīd like to get something different to my collection.

There is not way to tell what the color of the anemone will be once it gets its zoxanthellae back. Zoxanthellae is brown though, so that should give you a hint.

I have an orange BTA notice that there are no clear parts.
