Pictures ensued... I'm still figuring out accent lighting with flash as opposed to ambient lighting.

580EXII set at -1. I can get more of the properties of the picture when I go home after proctoring this test.
Nice pics man! I love the blurred out background.
DSLR is good for something :fun4:
cute, nice job. Is it the 50mm?

I used the Canon 550D (T2i) and the 100mm f/2.8L Macro with the 580EXII flash set at -1. I was practicing getting minimal "flash" in the picture while still getting the boost to available light.
