I just bought my first fish tank. It is a 14 gallan Biocube and I'm nervous because the tank has been running for 1.5 months now and I haven't had any problems yet. I currently have three small fish, 4 corals and a turbo snail. I don't have excess alge my corals and fish are healthy. My liverock is turning purple.

Is this normal for everything to be alright? I was expecting a balancing act with the water parameters. How often do problema occur normally?

Normally problems don't occur with good husbandry. My only concern is 3 fish seem like a lot for a 14 gallon. What kind of fish do you have?

Sixline Wrasse, Clown, and a blue yellow tail damsil.

Excuse my misspellings

I dunno man, i tend to get nervous for a reason rather than lack of...

I'd say yes, its o.k for everything to be o.k.

I don't think a six line or the yellow tail damsel is a good choice for a 14 gal. they get to big there are lots of small fish better suited for a nano like yours .

Your probablly right about the fish selection. My wife and I already talking about upgrading to a 200 gallon tank in a year or so. Trying to get more experience beofre doing it. So the fish will have a new home hopfully in the near future.
