gray slime, red spots on glass...

gray slime strings, some of the slime strings are red, red spots on glass, and a light brown something spotted on the sand, what does this mean!!! i know its something, praying its not phosphates(dont have a way to test it)

Your fears are founded. The best phosphate test in the world is free. Look at the tank, if you see algae and cyano, then you have phosphate issues.

How old is your tank? Where is your water coming from? RODI, LFS, tap?

i honestly dont know how old the tank is exactly but id say getting close to 3 yrs, i use NSW from the store and top off water from the faucet, the city water entering my house goes thru a ro filter and then thru the house, i also use a dechlorinator just in case, been doing it this way no issues the whole time the tanks been running
