I just look at some skimmers that at an astritonacle price. Bubble King, just looked at a skimmer from them for $8400 dollars. Can't believe they are worth the price. Does anyone use one?

I use one, wish it was cheaper. But was definitely worth it for my setup

They are excelled skimmers, built very well a d they perform well. That said, they are a bit overpriced. There are many skimmers that will compete very well with them, at a fraction of the cost. If money is not tight, they are worth it.

How do you think My Reef Creations would compare to them.

MRC downdraft skimmers?

they have their place! usually work better on larger systems though and they require more powerful pumps.

Better options out there! would need to know what size your system is and stocking levels.

I got the ok last night to do a 125 gal, up from a 75. It will be a LPS tank. As of now there will be maybe 6 green chromis, 1 fox face, a yellow tang, and a royal gramme. The wife wants a flame angel or a coral beauty and of course some type of goby, most likely a mandarin.

Dwarf angel + LPS equals problems.

I have a Vertex Alpha 300 which is made by the same people who make the bubble king.
This skimmer is INCREDIBLE. I pull a gallon of skimmate from my tank a day and I am not even set to skim that wet....LOL
