I want to start a third aquarium. This time a small 29 gal tank.
I need help on what fishes to put in there. I want small peaceful species that would be fine living in a system with invertebrates mostly snails, and like 10 hermit crabs.
So any suggestions? I'm asking because this would be my first peaceful species tank so I don't know many that are truly peaceful.
The other two systems that I have are an aggressive FOWLR system and a dwarf seahorse tank.
Thanks for y'all help =]

In my 29 gallon I have 2 blue/green chromis and a Coral Beauty angel and a citron goby. Each of these species have been very peaceful for me so far despite what others might say about the chromis... I also had a starry blenny (RIP) but he got an internal parasite and passed away. he too was very peaceful and never bothered anything.. I wouldn't do much more then 6 fish in the tank as you don't want to much bioload (which i know you are probably familiar with). Some might say 6 is still to much, but if they are small fish I see no problem with that many.

Having a good filtration system will help also, again i am sure you know that but just throwing it in.. I have no problems with levels or anything and my fish are happy and healthy.

Yeah I'm lol I mean after 5+ years in FW and 5+ in SW yes it's pretty familiar =D made tons of mistake but fortunately I barely had any loses and now all my fish are happy so I'm happy lol! I didn't know the coral beauty was considered peaceful I mean I have one in the aggressive FOWLR and he seems pretty happy he's very belligerent and holds well his ground... Now after 3 years of having it his tankmates know better than to bother it... My Niger trigger is afraid of him so go figure lol!

In my 29 I haved a small Clarkii Clown, a yellow tail damsel and a bicolor pseudochromis. They all get along together and have been quite happy for the last 2 years.
