Red turf algae?

Does anything eat red turf algae? The algae itself isn't causing any real issues it just doesn't look great.

probably no fish that are suitable for a 40 gallon tank. there may be some urchins that you could try, but they're generally bruisers reef tanks.

mexican turbo snails will eat just about any algae :)

Yes they do. I had quite a bit of that growing on my rock and tossed in a few Mexican turbos yesterday...they went straight to work:)

+1 on the mexican turbo snail... They are large, and like to plow their way to what they want to eat, but they will eat it.
