I was pruning my cheato last night and upon very close inspection I could see a tiny flatworm crawling on the glass.
Do I stress out and treat with flatworm exit or just keep my fingers crossed that my mystery wrasse will help control the population.
I never have seen one in my DT.

If it is just the little grey/brown ones, no worries. Lots of people have them in their sump. The red/orange ones are the ones that typically overpopulate.

Don't stress out! There are many many types of flatworms, and only a few of those are the bad kind. I had the same experience a few months ago. I stressed out unncessarily and did a FW exit treatment which didn't work but the fw's are mostly gone anyway. They were just small brown ones. Still see one or two but it was just a phase in the maturation of the tank.
Do a picture search for "acoel flatworm", and if it doesn't look like those, then don't worry about it.
