I had a 29 tall that I took out of the bottom of my 60 cube. I was going to reuse it for my 20g rimless. Well it was too tall.... So I cut it down..

Now I'm going to redo the baffles and paint it to match my stand.

Well here is the paint job. Did a panel of acrylic to go over the glass. Going to scrap off the white paint off the sump glass to make it clear again. This will be so I can use magnets to keep the acrylic in place and can be removed for viewing in the sump. Not finished but to give you a idea of what I'm doing.

With a good old regular glass cutter.

I just cut the silicone down to where I wanted the glass level. I then cut the glass and broke it.
