Question about cadlight artisan 50

Ive decided to go with the cadlights artisan 50 rimless tank. Do you think a 24" 250w halide/2x96w PC combo will be enough lighting to house LPS/SPS ?
When checking out you get to choose what upgrades and accesories youd like with the tank, one option is an oscillator what is this?

I have the same tank and use the 150 watt with 2 t5's. this light is plenty strong enough for me to grow sps all the way down to the sand. i think 250 would be pushing it unless you hung it a foot off the tank.

i believe you are talking about an auto top off when you refer to the oscillator. it is a float switch that activates a pump either connected directly to an R.o. unit or to some kind of a holding tank. this will keep your tank replenished when it evaporates.

and PC's IMO are not the best option unless you like replacing bulbs every 6 months to keep your PAR up
