Wall Wart for led AC or DC?

Ok so my question is the 10 volt wallwart i hook up to the dimming circuit in the led diy kit, what walwart do i use?? 10 volt ac to dc 1 Ma Wall Wart?? or dc to ac??

The output of the power supply should be 10VDC.

AND IT NEEDS TO BE 10V. Not a wallwart that states 10V and is really putting out 15V. I believe anything over 12V fries the driver.
