That just wont work.
It can be an un-reef safe fish... Coral etc..
I wish it was possible to have an octopus in a standard reef tank.(with other fish)

Good topic--
Majestic Angel--Favorite fish....don't have the size or the guts.
I have another
Undulated Trigger--To bad they are such a-holes. Gorgeous fish.

I thought about...10 tangs in a 40 breeder, or a school of 20 Anthias in a 90.
But after some considerable thought I've decided to go with the blond mermaid in my bedroom tank (assuming I had such a tank)!

I have an aussie harlequin and an emperor in my "reef" tank. I guess that is going to be a problem? I use the term reef loosely because I have only amateur hour corals. I do notice they get moved occasionally if I don't have them mounted well...
Oh and I wish I could keep all the awesome aggressive fish in the reef tank!

I'll take a nice redhead mermaid, please. :D
Seriously, though, I wish I could have a large angelfish reef tank. It's too bad most of them are aggressive coral nippers. I especially wish that I could have a regal angel, but I've heard that they need a 130 gallon tank, and I've only got room and money for a 80-90 gallon tank at the largest right now.
It would also be neat to have a clownfish-only tank with several different pairs of clownfish. :)

Mermaids sound fun, but one end has to be a fish end...We've all seen that Futurama episode and what a let down that could be. haha!
I'd like to have a realistic chunk of ecosystem in a box. We do an alright job, but I'd actually like to have the whole shebang contained in the tank.

Ummmm, so much that I want... How about a fish tank that automatically ugrades to the fish you want? Would be nice, and hopefully cheaper than doing an upgrade yourself...
I would like a naso or blue hippo tang... stuck with a 125 gallon as of right now.

Clear water all the time with no alage growing on the glass so I can see into the tank to observe my healthy fish.
For some of you who posted about having a Moorish Idol, Majestic Angle, Copperbanded Butterfly or Dwarf Angles, go for it.
I had my Idol for 4 years, still have my Majestic Angle at about 4 years+ and my Copperbanded Butterfly going on 3 years. I also have 4 dwarf Angles in the tank.
As for the ones I lost, it was due to electrical failure and tank was stagnent for at least 8 hours. But I'll get another Idol when I find the right one.

A porcupine puffer, I really miss the little guy from my old FOWLER - best personality of any fish EVER.
I had one in my fish only tank 15 years ago. They have a lot a character and will interact with you when feeding. Now that I have a mixed reef having one would be impossible and another tank is out of the question in my 800 sq. ft. condo. My wife would kill me!
