Hey, everyone.

I'm having a rough time getting my controller (or something) to work properly. I first had it plugged directly into a GFCI, but my sump pump kept turning off. So I removed it and plugged it directly into the wall plug.

I just decided to plug the EB8 directly to the wall plug and not use to the GFCI because I keep having problems get my lights to turn on using the EB8 and v1/v2.

I'm totally stressed. I want to enjoy this product but I must be doing something wrong or I have a defective unit.

My light setup is as follows:

LED DYI from reefleds.
3- blue drivers plugged into one power strip, plugged into EB8 socket 1
2- white drivers plugged into another power strip, plugged into EB8 socket 2

Outlet setup V1 (blue leds):
Set OFF
If Time 08:00 to 09:30 Then RampUP
If Time 09:30 to 20:00 Then ON
If Time 20:00 to 21:30 Then RampDOWN

Outlet 1:
Set OFF
If Time 08:00 to 21:30 Then ON

Outlet setup V2 (white leds):
Set OFF
If Time 08:30 to 10:00 Then RampUP
If Time 10:00 to 19:00 Then ON
If Time 19:00 to 20:30 Then OFF

Outlet 2:
Set OFF
If Time 08:30 to 20:30 Then ON

Blues turn on, but my white will not. My status continues to show manual off/off even when I try manual on or auto.

Interestingly enough, I was able to use the manual on and off on the controller to get the whites on, but not from the webserver or iphone apps.

So two things:

1. Any ideas about my lights?
2. Shouldn't I be able to plug my return pump and skimmer directly to the EB8? Any if so, which socket would you use?

Thanks for your help.

Was the GFCI tripping? If so, you ned to find out what's causing that by using a process of elimination.

Not being able to turn on/off outlets with the web interface or iPhone app is a symptom of having duplicate outlet names... outlet names MUST be unique.

Thanks for the duplicate name answer. I just changed them so we'll see what happens in a few when the whites are suppose to dim.

Any thoughts on how I should configure my two tunze 6055 with the neptune cable?

I tried the name issue, went to take shower hoping then when I come out the lights would be dimming and everything would be great. NOPE!!

Unfortunately, instead of my whites dimming and my blues starting to dim at 20:00, I came out to see that all my lights we're off. My neptune says that my blues are in "rampdown", but they're not. They're completely off.

Here's my config. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Outlet/Var1: BlueDIM
Set OFF
If Time 08:00 to 09:30 Then RampUP
If Time 09:30 to 20:00 Then ON
If Time 20:00 to 21:30 Then RampDOWN

Outlet/Var2: WhiteDIM
Set OFF
If Time 08:30 to 10:00 Then RampUP
If Time 10:00 to 19:00 Then ON
If Time 19:00 to 20:30 Then RampDOWN

Profiles:
Name: RampUP
Ramp time (minutes) - 90
Start intensity - 0
End intensity - 100

Name: RampDOWN
Ramp time (minutes) - 90
Start intensity - 100
End intensity - 0

BTW: Could there be a conflict if I'm setting up Var1/Var2 with the above settings and then configuring 3_1 and 3–2 with the following?

Outlet Name/3_1: Blues
Set OFF
If Time 08:00 to 21:30 Then ON

Outlet Name/3_2: Whites
Set OFF
If Time 08:30 to 20:30 Then ON
