has anybody have experience with the Durgon or Durgeon triggerfish?

yea.... I have one... however it's spelled. Great fish.... cool markings with ZERO attitude. They need a tank 300g plus I would say. I have one that's 6-8in in my temporary 210g & he's cramped, more energy then my poweder blue & sohal

Mine had some attitude, certainly more than a Xanthichthys trigger. I agree about the tank size; they get a lot bigger than people think.
I've seen both Durgon and Durgeon; both are listed ini fishbase, but I don't know if one is truly proper.
