Do these really help your Sps? They cost so much!

I've been trying a product called "Fuel" for about three weeks now. I traded in some Xenia for it. I can honestly say I haven't noticed a bit of difference in any of my corals and I have all types--SPS, LPS, softies, zoa's, paly's. It may just be the product I'm using, but I am skeptical to say the least.
