Is this Aiptasia?

Is what you see in the attached picture Aiptasia? It looks a little greener in real life, picture is kind of yellow. I found this on rock from the Gulf of Mexico if that helps.

It looks lke it. I had one that looks looks like that and I took the rock out and kill it.

It may be something else, but IDK what. Aiptasia usually have a brown/clear base. I can't ever recall seeing one with a white base, which it looks like yours has. Doesn't mean it's not one, just sayin'.

Looks like a Majano Anenome .... kill it or it will spread

Don't think it's majano. Could be aiptasia or something else, maybe Bartholomea annulata (aka corkscrew anemone).
