Does anyone have experience with "PO4x4 Phosphate Remover"? It claims to be unique chemical engineered polymer based mini pellets, and that it can be regenerated up to 98% with their regeneration buffer. Just wondering if anyone has found this product to be more efficient than GFO.

Thanks,

Jim Craig

I have been running the Phosballs for months. My nitrates are very low but phosphates still run in the .15 range. I would like to get it lower.

Joe, thanks for the input. Do you credit the phosballs or thee 4x4 Phosphate Remover for the low nitrates? On a separate system, I have been using only phosballs (since 1/1/11) but can't geet my nitrates bbelow 12.5 ppm but I do credit them for keeping my phosphates uner control.

I am only using phosballs and my tank is overstocked with fish. I transitioned from AZNO3 to phos balls so I had a good start. I have not used the 4x4 PR so must be what is keeping nitrates down. At this point I am not surprised if two side by side identical systems would test different parameters. It appears to be very individual.

endojoew,
Thanks for sharing your experience. Just wondering, have you tried to recharge the resin with the buffer solution sold by the same company?
