After having several headaches with my Apex wireless connection I finally got to a point where I never logged in any longer. Problem now is that my DynDNS provider apparently closed my account. It is no longer free to set it up again. I am all ready paying for a separate webpage for another one of my hobbies and I was wondering if there is any way that I can use that paid service as a way to access my Apex controller page? The display has gone out on me and it has been suggested to me by Neptune Systems that I need to update my firmware...in order to do this, I need to be able to access the controller through the webpage...in order to do this, I apparently need to set up the page again. I have completely forgotten how to do all of this and was hoping someone could give me the rundown and whether I might be able to utilize the server I am all ready paying for to host the page for my controller as well??

DynDns still has a free service; what phased out if the account was not kept up to date was the broad choice of domain names. You can still choose from a much smaller list.

In order to update firmware you don't need to gain access to the Apex's website; only the IP address of the controller which will either be accessible using the Apex (http://Apex) or the default address 192.168.1.50. Try those and see if you have better luck.
