a LFS has had a nice 10" blue gig FS for over a month they have made me a pretty good deal if I want it however I have some questions first

my set up is a 120gal 60"x18"x24" on the tank I will put it in. I have over 500 gal twv between 3 tanks and sump all on one system my water parmeters are
sal 1.026
temp 78-79
mag 1350
alk 9dkh
nitrates 0-10
amonia 0
phos .1 (high I know working on lowering it now running GFO and bio pellets)
lighting on the 120 is a DIY led setup consisting of 48 xpe RB and 24 xpg cool whites
In the 120 i have a RBTA (bottom left on pic), a condi (top left), small purple LTA 3" ( hard to see but med right bottom) rock flower (center right top), several maxi minis, and my baby a green hadoni which i have had for 2 years (bottom right)
I was thinking I could move my clam to another tank and put the blue gig right in the middle
basically i would just like some opinions on wether this is a good idea I dont want to kill the gig or lose $$

If you can keep a tridacna alive on the sand, you should have enough light. Just make sure you give it a LOT of water flow.

Yeah the clam is also one of my favorites I've had him since it was 2" almost 3 years

You understand that gigantea are not sand anemones, right? Unlike your haddoni, your gigantea is going to want to be on some rocks. I would recommend building a small outcropping or bommie, and putting the gigantea in a depression on the top, with STRONG water flow across the top. If the gigantea wants more flow it can reach up from the depression; if it wants less it can hunker down. They don't necessarily need to be high up in the water column - they will be happy at any level as long as they get enough light.

I bought the gig today he came with a large piece or live rock he was attached to. i will post some pics tomorrow. I'm still debating on the purple hadoni bit that might be too many nems in one tank

Those LEDs look really bright. Do you have a reference thread for your DIY build?

No thread. 48 xpe royal blue ran by 2 meanwell 60-48d and 24 xpg cool whites ran by 1 meanwell 60-48d. I have the same set up on my 75 SPS tank i like them a lot better then the 6 bulb t5 retro kit i was using before
