I really only want to pull the impeller out so I can check for any damage to the magnet. The pump has been having trouble starting over the last few months when it has been shut-off, but now it will just sieze up during use at random times. Am I missing something, how do you pop the impeller out? At the very least I'd like to clean it up in some vinegar. Thanks everyone.

A little more time, and I found that I was trying to pry the pinwheel out from the wrong point. You have to pry where the o-ring is, then it popped right out. Unfortunately I confirmed what was suspected, a cracked magnet.

If you could take a photo and send it to me along with the serial number that is imprinted on the back of the pump directly below the sticker. [email protected]

My hat's off to the coralvue team (especially Jeremy). You guys went above and beyond in replacing my split impeller magnet, this is a company YOU want to do business with.
