hey ive been looking at this skimmer for a while.. its not to much for a 40g cube and 15g sump is it?

my bio load wont be that big but i like to feed my acans :D

and im sure itll turn into a sps dominated tank in the future

or if you can recommend another one of your skimmers that would be great also

The best skimmer for your tank is the XP1000sss or the SRO 1000 if you have the room in the sump.

Nice, does the SSS have any advantages over ther other? Not just space? Does the pump being right under increase performance?

No it more the opposite due to the pump positioning you actually are less efficient with the sump saver model as compared to the traditional style with the pump mounted externally to the body.
