What I was thinking...

I already have an automatic water changer.
I use a litermeter III to change 20 gallons/ day on my 400 gallon system, but its all guess work.

It would be great to turn on the water changer once Nitrates hit .10
then turn it off after it hits .5 or 0....

Ideas?

I don't think there is any probe technology available that allows for cost-effective, constant monitoring.

While a cool idea, the "what happens when things break" side of me thinks the increased safety of manually figuring out a basic timer program that gets things "close enough" would far offset the added precision the monitoring would bring (when it was working perfectly).
