Hey all...

I finally decided to try NP biopellets with TLF 150 reactor, i have read all instructions and recommendations, it's been in for about a week... I have a few questions:

1. Right after i started my biopellet reactor my skimmer crashed (making no foam) and remaining the same still. Is that normal?

2. How long does it usually takes for bacteria to develop?

Did you rinse the pellets first? Bacteria buildup is 2-4 weeks, give it 4 weeks to see best results

No, i haven't rinsed the pellets! Is that bad? Thanks :)

I'm using TLF brand biopellets, i emailed them and they said rinsing is not necessary.

Skimmer has been back to duty since yesterday, making foam again :)
