swabbie suggestion

It would be awesome to have another blade for the outside of the neck (opposite side of the neck the swabbie blade is on now). I know it doesnt really matter for skimmate production, but it would show me how high my bubbles are on any given day. My Alpha 300 produces over a gallon a day and the skimmer cup gets pretty nasty quick.

I think it would be nice because it should hold the blades against the sides better. My needs to be adjusted every few days....

We've been playing with a few ideas to solve this problem.

reefkeeps - do you have a stainless steel screw to hold the blade in place? If not, I can send you one. Tightening that down really well will keep you from having to mess with it.

what about combining Carbon Filtered Skimmer Lid with swabbie?

I tried, sadly the screw just doesn't bite, it pushes right threw, I considered super glue but felt I might regret that some day. Would two blades not force it to stay centered?
