First of all thanks for reading, i purchased some live fiji rock today and noticed a number of hitchikers stowed away. The first i beleive to be some type of anemone, as there are a few pieces which are splitting in 2, also i think there eating each other as there are randomn bits around the rock, some look in good health and others are pink and spongey from what i can only guess has been semi degisted. The anemone im not to bothered about as i no its not manjano or apistia so he can stay, dont know exactly what it is though so any input would be appreciated. The 2nd hiker is some sort of tube worm (not feather duster) which uses the substrate to elongate its tube, it has 2 long white stringy heads which extend and grab sand etc, they stretch well over an inch and again i cannot i.d them. There are photos below, the 1 of the tube worm does not show its heads, just the tube, can post additional photos on request, thanks for your comments hope you can help, Dan.:spin1:

I'm not sure about the first picture, but here's a good article reguarding the second one though.

First pic looks to be an anemone or frilly mushroom. The second would likely be a worm of some sort. Both keepers, IMO. GL!

Yes, they can and do. Mine do it all the time when they catch something to eat.
