Darryl has one a colony sized Sarmentosa, I think a couple of others too. Hopefully they will post up photos.

I have one about the size of a soft ball but I will grab a picture of it soon. FWIW, it was imported as a wild piece.

Mine grows s-u-p-e-r ssssssssslllllllloooooooooowwwwwww. Got it about 1.5 years ago as a single branch 1" frag. Now it's a very well-encrusted 1 big branch and 6 or 7 smaller multi-branched nubs mini colony. It looks like its about to start sending up branches from the encrusted area, but I've thought that for some time. Nice, very bright green color. Sorry no pics. Currently travelling, so I can't grab a photo, and I would certainly NOT consider it a colony. Another good thing I can say about it - other than it's cool thick-branched habit, and really great color and constant LARGE polyp extension - AEFW don't touch it at all.

It "was" a wild colony and after a couple weeks it began to RTN. I saved a few frags which haven't grown at all in 4 months. The frags all turned green also. As with all wild coral there are 2 things you can pretty much bet on.... RTN and color change.

Here is what's left of it.

You can see mine on the left here. Crazy colors on it, a mixture of blue green pink and purple!

Imagine some of the silly street names they would call something like this today :hmm3:.

With all the color variations, its hard to believe this is all the same coral!

Its the structure not the color that dictates species.

WOW!!

These are some beautiful pieces!

I got a frag from flyyguyy a few months ago.

It looks a lot like the one that darryl has. It is turning in to one of my favorites and one of the things I noticed is the PE, which is great!
