View Full Version : What can I grow under these lights??

I have a 92G corner tank right now, Im thinking of changing back to salt, I have these I believe http://www.marineland.com/sites/marineland/products/Detail.aspx?id=3403

Its 36" is there anything I can grow with these, its actually a cichlid tank now but thinking of switching back to salt. Im just not very familiar with LEDS thanks

Tank diameters would probably help people who know what theyre talking about :P

lol sorry, its a 92G corner tank, I would say its 2.5 ft deep. Im not even home right now so I cant get the exact dimensions

you might be able to grow mushrooms and maybe some other softies up really high...other then that i dont think too much...those seem like fairly weak light fixture more so for viewing rather then growing corals..

Maybe if you went with one of their reef capable led systems but even then I would only try low light corals. Those double brights can barely grow any freshwater plants in my shallow tanks...
