I have seen people in the past use a large food storage bin as a sump. One can be seen here on the left in the second pic.

I'm not too sure about the one in the picture, looks like those milk crates but with solid walls.

Right down the road here in Houston there's a HUGE sump for sale at T&T Fish and Reef. It's probably 4x3x2ft. Call/email them for more info and maybe some pics. I bet it's expensive.

Rubbermaid makes large stock tanks, anywhere from 50gal to 300gal. The 300gal is pretty cheap:

There are plenty of TSC stores in the DFW area, as well.
