I was just wondering if your light on your reef tank was left on for 48 hours would it bleach all your corals? I've never done it before and I'm assuming it would. Went to work last night to check on my tank and feed my fish and someone had switched my plugs. They plugged my lights into the constant feed and my filter into the timer... I have monti's sps, chalice, duncans, gsp, mushrooms, leathers, Euphyllia, and paly's... The only thing that is affected is my paly's are a little bleached and my Hector Goby is MIA... :headwallblue:

They might get a bit stressesd out, but I doubt 48 hrs is enough to bleach them.

I have seen SPS bleached when a LFS employee left LED lights on for 24 hours.

Did they ever recover?

Thanks for the replies, I'm positive the cleaning lady's kid did it on Sunday, so they wasn't left on that long... I thought someone on second shift messed with it on Friday which would have sucked. What a relief, time to find a lock of some type for my power strip now... lol
