After I hatch the brine shrimp in a two liter, I was going to move them into a 6g tank to let them grow out. I'm not sure though what to do for water movement. Is it ok to use a small HOB or should I just put an airline in there with or without an air stone attached to it?

They're more nutritious if you feed them to the tank while the yolk sac is still there. Usually feed mine right after they hatch.

Too small. I need them to be bigger to entice a seahorse into eating. It's pecked at a few frozen mysis, but I need something moving to interest her and the BBS didn't do it for her.

+1 ... and before instar stage 1 to be exact: thats approx before 4hrs post hatching and before the 1st molt

growing out BBS? it can be done but most of those who have tried find it to be a real pita (to get mass qty's anyway)...
...easiest way is in a 10gal with a occasional feeding of yeast, and I mean occasional and light...too much yeast or too many shrimp and they crash

...I've purchased them in bulk before but it ain't cheap; there used to be a place called "Brine Shrimp Direct" and a box would cost like $125 shipped ...and thats predicated on the fact you can feed at least 1/2 of them immediatley (you gotta seperate out the less vigourous ones immediatley and feed those)
...at that time I had over 100 tanks; 10's 15's and 20's, hundreds of fish and even then 1/2 box was a lot....

...you could purchase a smaller qty and/or get the so called "1/4-1/2" size, but FedEx shipping is murder....

Have you considered starting a mysis shrimp culture?

That would probably be better. Where do I get them from?

You can buy them from Sachs aquaculture, or from live aquaria.
