Hello all,
I am sure that some have come across this question before. My American Pinpoint Controller is buzzing loudly when switching from activating a receptacle to deactivating it. (And Vice Versa).
Now I have read many articles and most say it is the solenoid. I can tell you that it is not the solenoid, because it makes this sound when the solenoid power cord is not plugged into the one of the two controller receptacles.
I have tested it; it does turn on and off the solenoid, but during the buzzing it sends pulses of electricity to the solenoid and cause the solenoid to energize and de-energize violently.
Any solution to this?
