What are some unique fish of the pitcairn islands and what are they worth?

Here are the only two I know.

Chaetodon smithi

Yes, outside of Easter Island this is the only stronghold of Centropyge hotumatua... all three of the above species have been collected for the hobby, but not at Pitcairn... these three above would probably be the most valuable... but are not the most unique... there are two endemic fish... one is a blenny, and one is one of the few species (unfortunately bland) of the Hemitauricthys genus... Hemitaurichthys multispinosus... it does have many cool spines though... :D Chaetodon smithi I'd love for my reef... ironically it behaves very much like the Hemitaurichthys genus... there is still one on display at the Waikiki Aquarium...

Other notable valuables from there would be Anampses femininus and, if Christmas Island keeps getting fished as hard as it is... Zebrasoma rostratum...

Jordani, on a side note you will probably find it cool to know that Genicanthus spinus was described in 1975 by Jack Randall in the same paper as the fish in your avatar... along with Genicanthus bellus! Three of the ten species of Genicanthus in one paper... Jack is the man!
