I am used to seeing pics of elegance corals that looks like this...

well I have had mine for around 7 months or so and I took this pic today...

Mine lacks some of the brighter colors that I see in others.
Is my coral healthy?

Could my light spectrum allow it to grow well but with dull coloration?

This coral certainly eats well and stings the hell out of everything it touches. My elegance once severely crippled an orange linkia that fell into it and ate it whole a week later in a matter of minutes.

I do not think it is healthy. Is this an Aussie or Indo elegance.

It looks like an elegance that has gone through a very rough time, and lost quite a bit of mass. It will take a long time for it to regain this lost mass. Feed it when/if you can, and keep cal, alk, and phosphate in check. Even if you do every thing right, it may be another year before the tentacles really start to lengthen, and the coral starts looking "healthy".
