Will a 150 watt HQI Metal Halide 14k and 2x(2xactinic(2x24watt)+2x10k(2x24watt)light strips) be enough to grow SPS corals in a 20" deep aquarium?

Lumens and wattage mean nothing to corals. Its all about PAR. For the most part, the lighting you listed will be enough to keep SPS alive. What size tank is it?

50 gallon cube by Oceanic, I really think it is a 48 gallon.

I read a little about PAR, just don't quite understand it yet, will they thrive under the lighting I have? I am going to let it the tank mature again for a year before adding the SPS corals at least, I think I should.

Here is a website I found quite usefull: http://www.marineandreef.com/Articles.asp?ID=121
I have a 27" deep 150 gal, and I have 150 watt MH and T5's. According to a lot of "experts", I shouldn't be able to grow SPS or clams unless they are at the top. Well, I have a happy clam that has doubled in size on the substrate 25" down, and a lot of SPS sitting 2/3rd of the way down and doing well. So, who know's, really? You already have the light, and that should be adequate for even SPS, IMO. I wouldn't recommend changing it, yet. See how your coral do, first.

You shouldnt have any issues, due to lighting, with that fixture. That will provide plenty of light for pretty much anything.
