Hello. I just got finished calibrating all my drivers... I ran into a little bit of a surprise while doing so.

Maybe I'm seeing this incorrectly, but it seemed that when the 110VAC was unplugged that there is a 5-10 sec pause of darkness, then all the LED's in that string will give one last synchronized bright flash. I'm assuming this is the capacitors in the driver discharging. The lights work fine after the flash.

My concern with this is that I was planning on putting the 110VAC lines on a timer. Now I'm not so sure as I think the bright flash will scare the fish.

Do most people use the 10VDC dimmer signal wires to control their on/off function?

Kill the dimmer circuit before the main power shuts off and it should cure your flash.
