Just noticed some white dots on my glass, not many,has something in my tank laid eggs?snails?

Could be snail eggs, hydroid jellies, spirorbid worms, isopods. Need a pic for a positive ID.

yes, those were snail eggs.
It happened to me last year and I had to empty out the tank, cooked all the live rocks..etc

I noticed a small nassarius snail leaving a trail of them on the back glass yesterday, I read where they probably wont get fertilized so they wont hatch either.

My snails lay eggs on the glass all the time. It's nothing to worry about. The life cycle of aquatic snails is very complex. After hatching they remain a planktonic embryo for a long time. During which time they either get filtered, skimmed, or eaten. I just scrape them off the front glass periodically. And if they hatch, free food!
