It is on a small zoanthid frag i got today. They look very similar to a BTA even though it doesnt seem to be stinging the zoanthids. The zoanthids are normally out but my scooter blenny just went over the top of them. Please help me id these i can post more pictures if needed. There is three of them on the rock and each does have a mouth in the center. Thanks

Mojano pest anemones. They multiple quickly so you'll want to eradicate them. Inject with a commercially available product like Joe's Juice or just inject them with kalk paste.

Thanks for the quick reply. Just read that you can pull them off with tweezers so going to do that now before they try to take over. Just put the rock in a few hours ago so not to worried.

Pulling them off with tweezers will likely leave some flesh behind. any flesh left behind will grow into a new anemone.

Instead of pulling them off I went underneath them and they just popped off. Seemed to work fine. Only had 3 little ones on the rock. If I have a problem I'll probably just yank the rock.

Good job!
What is that behind the zoanthid colony?

My clam to the right, a yuma to the left, and another zoa colony directly behind it.

Yup he loves to get in all pictures. That is his favorite game second to bouncing from zoanthid to zoanthid and knocking hermits off the rocks.:lmao:

In this pic it looks a bit like a ricordea. If it is a majano its much better looking than mine lol. Heres mines growing :worried2: slightly bigger than an inch. Still looking for away in removing it as its foot is in a hole, by then I wouldn't be shocked if it grew to 2" :headwally:

It does look a little like ricordea in that picture, but after looking around it definitely was Majano. Mine were pretty it almost hurt to kill them. As far as the foot being in hole that is going to be difficult. I was lucky mine were all easy to get to.
