I had 2 mp40's on my 75 (48x18x24) and got fantastic deal on a mp40 and a brand new mp20. I was GOING to make one of my original mp's an ecosmart like the other one, but instead will spring for the upgrade for the 20.

So with 4 mp40's, 2 Ecosmart, 2 wireless... What's the best setup for random flow on a 125 (72x18x24)? Maybe even thinking about a gyre. Or would it be better to just have the 2 ecosmarts on NTM and antisync?

Also, when the ecosmart's are in NTM, what are the non ecosmarts set to?

To answer your questions, I would personally recommend upgrading the MP20 to start. As far as a mode, it's really personal preference, but I would perhaps try the pair of es's on NTM (anti-sync) and the non-es's on something like Reef Crest. A gyre is also certainly possible. Lastly, if an older non-es model is setup as the master with an ES as a slave, it will simply stay in a constant speed at the last speed it could recognize from the ES master. Personally, I recommend running the non-ES as the master in this sutiation. Hope this helps!
